Fujairah Private Academy provides an education for children from 3.5 years to 18 years of age in a caring and structured environment. Wholly owned by the Government of Fujairah, the school operates under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah and Member of the Supreme Council. It is established as a non profit making educational establishment. The school has grown with the expansion of Fujairah and now has a role of circa 400 students drawn from the local community with UAE nationals providing the largest section of the school population. The school operates in a conservative manner and aims at providing a British style education in a bilingual environment. Care is taken to match the aspirations of prospective students with those of the school and admission is by interview and a test of linguistic competency from Year 4. All staff have trained teacher status and staff are in the main, recruited from the UK.
The school is an institution in which people from a wide variety of nationalities and cultural backgrounds work together. Each student is regarded as an individual and we aim to provide a purposeful and peaceful atmosphere for their academic and personal growth. Students are encouraged to develop lively and enquiring minds, a sense of self esteem and the ability to make a positive contribution to school and society.
