Jebel Ali Primary school was founded in 1977, primarily for the children of construction workers at Jebel Ali Port. It has grown steadily for over 30 years and we now have 28 classes at two separate Key Stage sites. The original school (now Key Stage Two only) is situated in Jebel Ali village and the newer Key Stage One site is next to Al Muntazah compound near to the Riding School. We aim to provide high quality education within a caring and welcoming environment and seek to retain the 'village school' atmosphere. The school follows the National Curriculum for England. Standards and expectations at Jebel Ali Primary school are high and we strive for a broad and balanced curriculum to ensure every child achieves his/her potential. Both sites are fully networked and interactive whiteboards have been installed in every classroom.

Jebel Ali Primary School is a non-profit making organisation, registered with the Department for Education and Skills (DCFS) in England. The School was founded in 1977 and today has 640+ children across 28 classes. and has managed to retain the caring, friendly ethos of a village school. Through careful planning and differentiation, all children are encouraged to access all areas of the curriculum in order to realise their potential. In Music, Physical Education and Languages, children are taught by specialist teachers. The majority of children transfer to the many colleges in Dubai, which offer continuity of the National Curriculum for England. The Board of Governors is the sole governing body and normally meets twice every term. With the exception of the Head Teacher, all members of the Board of Governors serve in a voluntary capacity. All teaching and support staff hold UK qualifications or qualifications recognised in the UK.
