|
Latifa School for Girls was established in 1982 by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the late Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to provide students with the skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to lead full and satisfying lives wherever this may be.
For students in Years 1–11, Latifa School has developed a curriculum based on the UK National Curriculum and sections of the UAE Ministry of Education curriculum. Year 12 students study AS level and some GCSEs along with key skills. Many students choose to continue into Year 13 to complete their A level studies. Nearly all students move on to tertiary education in the UAE, UK or USA.
