Established in 1974, Sharjah English School provides quality primary and secondary education for English-speaking children between the ages of 3 and 19. The secondary section opened in 2005, when the school moved to a large new campus adjacent to Sharjah University City. The school is readily accessible to students in Sharjah, Ajman and many of the newer residential areas of Dubai.
The teachers are all British qualified and experienced. Class sizes are small. The school offers an education based on the English National Curriculum. In Key Stage 4 GCSEs are taught; the sixth form follows GCE AS and A-Level courses.
Characterised by an inclusive, community ethos, SES is proud of its achievements in music, arts and sports. Its sporting facilities are particularly impressive.
With over 45 nationalities, it offers the best of British education with an international outlook.
