Founded in 2004, Kings’ Dubai is a high quality, purpose built primary school situated in the Umm Suqeim 2 district of Dubai.
The school follows the National Curriculum for England. Admission is by informal assessment at the Foundation Stage and more formal class based assessment and interview in Key Stages 1 and 2. There are two or three forms of entry in each year group with a maximum of 25 students in each class.
Designed to the highest of specifications, Kings' offers an outstanding range of facilities to support teaching and learning across the curriculum. The pace of learning is enhanced by advanced interactive technology throughout the school. Children have access to tablet PCs and laptops. All classes and teaching areas have interactive whiteboards.
There is a purpose built gymnasium, 25 metre swimming pool, sports field, games court, library and assembly hall with stage and sound system. Practical space is available for Art, Science and Design Technology lessons. Classrooms extend onto shaded outside teaching decks.
Specialist teachers are employed to teach ICT, Physical Education, Music, French and Arabic. An extensive supplementary education programme offers a range of extra-curricular activities and educational visits.
Assessment for Learning and Personalised Learning are key to the work of the school ensuring that each child has the utmost opportunity to reach his or her full potential.
Kings’ is staffed by teachers who are UK qualified and have recent, relevant experience.
Kings’ Dubai is recognised by The Department for Education and Skills in the United Kingdom and full participation is taken in both statutory and non-statutory assessments.
