CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities

This qualification is aimed at those wanting to expand their professional practice so enabling them to provide high-quality, person-centred support. It includes a wide range of criteria with both mandatory and optional units covering areas such as supporting person-centred thinking and planning, promoting communication in health, social care or children and young people’s settings, supporting families who have a child with a disability, understanding the context of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, and implementing the positive behavioural support model.

CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools

This qualiļ¬cation provides an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills required when working directly with children or young people in primary, secondary, or special schools.

It covers all aspects of Specialist Support including planning, delivering, and reviewing assessment strategies to support learning alongside the teacher and, in addition, offers a wide selection of optional units enabling the candidate to specialize in areas such as bilingual support, special educational needs, pastoral care and working as a lead TA.

Our training resource files have been specifically written to enable schools to deliver valuable training without spending many hours developing their own materials.

Each file contains all the materials needed to deliver informative and interactive training, including guidance notes, PowerPoints on CD Rom, handouts, group activities, case studies & thought-provoking reflection, for delivery of over 50 hours of great training by teachers, senior managers, lead TA or Early Years Practitioner.
