BSME Annual School Leaders' Conference
BSME's Annual School Leaders' Conference is our flagship professional learning event exclusive to SLT members at BSME Member Schools and our Partner Members. It brings together approximately 200 school leaders from across the region for 3 days of networking, learning and sharing of information and expertise and offer approximately 80 partners the opportunity to attend and network with high level decision makers.
The 44th BSME Annual School Leaders' Conference will take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from the 2nd - 4th February 2027.
Monday, 1st February 2027
By invitation only: BSME Executive Committee meeting and Country Representatives meeting followed by our annual New Heads' Dinner.
Tuesday, 2nd February 2027
The Conference will begin with a selection of pre-conference activities. The earliest of these starts from 07:00 with activities running until 12:30 on Tuesday, 2nd February, and includes: the annual BSME Golf Tournament, the annual BSME Padel Tournament, an excursion to the stunning Jubail Mangroves, and an Emirati cooking and breakfast experience. The pre-conference activities offer a social opportunity to meet and network with other conference attendees, building valuable relationships with those with common interests from the moment you arrive.
Partner registration and exhibition set-up is from 11:00 - 12:30. We will then welcome School Delegates between 12:30 and 13:30 for registration. The official opening ceremony will be at 13:30 followed by an afternoon of valuable content and early evening welcome drinks leaving you free to dine or catch up with familiar faces at your leisure from 20:00.
Wednesday, 5th February 2027
A full day of engaging keynotes, workshops and panels as well as networking opportunities, followed in the evening by our annual Conference Dinner.
Thursday, 4th February 2027
After a third day of professional learning and collaboration opportunities, the Conference will close on Thursday, 4th February at 15:00. Please ensure you book accomodation accordingly and any flights to leave Abu Dhabi no earlier than 18:00.

Further details regarding school registrations and exhibitor table bookings, discounted room bookings and a call for workshop proposals will be shared with members via email in the new academic year.
N.B. This event is exclusively for BSME members. Non members are not eligible to attend.
