Redefining Education
In our rapidly evolving world, the educational paradigm for schools remains firmly rooted in an industrial-era model that is increasingly out of step with the complex needs of a dynamic modern society.
Research and educational discourse recognise that this approach, designed for GDP-driven economies, fails to nurture well-rounded individuals prepared for the challenges of the 21st century, for future success, and for societal well-being.
Educators and regulators have responded to this deficit with a host of curricular enhancements, from wellness strategies and sustainability initiatives to moral education programmes and innovation drives, from digital literacy and positive psychology to solution-based thinking and soft skills acquisition.
But are these additions truly transformative, or are we merely tinkering at the edges of an outdated system?
We stand at a crossroads. The time has come to reimagine education from the ground up, and BSME school leaders are uniquely positioned to pioneer this change.
Given a blank canvas, how would we design an education that genuinely equips our students to lead the future? How can we, as educational leaders, collaborate to construct and implement a more meaningful, relevant, and empowering educational experience?

Standard exhibition table spaces for BSME Partner members have reached capacity. Please contact services@bsme.org.uk to join the waiting list for a standard exhibition table, or to book an extended space.
Accommodation
We have secured rooms at a reduced rate at our Conference hotel, the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi.
To book a room at the discounted rate please click here and simply scroll down to click on the special rates button (just above the list of room types) and enter the promotional code MSCHAF. When you click submit, this will then automatically calculate and offer you the discounted rate on your booking. You need to enter a credit card number, but this will not be charged. The hotel will contact you directly to collect payment via a payment link or invoice, whichever you prefer.
The rooms we have held will be gradually released ahead of the conference, so we recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible.

Sponsorship Opportunities
We anticipate more than 150 School Leaders joining us at our Annual School Leaders’ Conference. This is a 2.5 day event with the exhibition open to all UAE schools, not just BSME member schools, on the afternoon of the 28th January, followed by 2 days of closed conference, exhibition and various opportunities to interact both professionally and socially with decision making school leaders from British schools across the MENA region.
