Behind the Scenes: Amity's Experience as First-Time BSME Games Hosts

Amity International School Abu Dhabi hosted the prestigious U13 BSME Games 2025, welcoming over 300 students from British schools across the Middle East for an unforgettable three-day sporting event. The Games showcased exceptional talent, teamwork, and the spirit of sportsmanship that lies at the heart of the BSME community.
Held on Amity's stunning waterfront campus, the event featured competition in four core sports: football, netball, volleyball, and athletics. Schools competed fiercely but fairly, with students demonstrating outstanding dedication, resilience, and passion in every discipline. Amity's state-of-the-art facilities, including a full-sized athletics track, FIFA-standard football pitches, and multi-purpose indoor courts, provided the perfect stage for high-level competition. The support of Amity's staff and student volunteers ensured the event ran seamlessly, with a strong emphasis on hospitality, safety, and a positive experience for all attending schools.
One of the highlights of the event was the vibrant opening ceremony, during which teams proudly paraded their school flags. This was followed by a message of encouragement from the school's leadership and a spectacular performance from Amity's talented students. The sense of unity and excitement set the tone for the days ahead.
