BSME Arabic Spelling Bee - Qatar

We are pleased to invite your school to register for the BSME Key Stage 2 Arabic Spelling Bee, which will be hosted at Doha English Speaking School, Qatar, on Thursday, 3rd December 2026.
The competition is designed for students in Years 3–6 and will be split into two phases:
Phase 1: Years 3 & 4
Phase 2: Years 5 & 6
Each phase will include three rounds:
Round 1: Written Spelling -Students spell a set of selected words in writing.
Round 2: Pronunciation - Students pronounce words presented during the competition.
Round 3: The Final - The highest-scoring participants will compete in spelling both familiar and unseen words based on given topics.
Schools will receive the official word list upon registration to support their preparation for the competition.
This event is open to all BSME member schools subject to availability.

Payments Terms for BSME Student Events • Cancellations received 30–44 days prior to the event date will result in a 75% refund of the invoiced amount due.* • Cancellations received 15–29 days prior to the event date will result in a 50% refund of the invoiced amount due.* • Cancellations received fewer than 15 days prior to the event date will result in no refund.* * If a suitable replacement is found by the host school/BSME, it may be possible to substitute one team or school for another. Any additional costs incurred as a result of such changes shall be borne by the Group. ** If an invoice has not been paid at the time of cancellation, the participating school will be charged the applicable percentage of the invoiced amount, based on the cancellation period above. For example, a cancellation made 30 days prior to the event date will incur a charge of 25% of the invoiced amount. *** BSME reserves the right to remove hosting points from a participating school should the above conditions not be adhered to. |
