Founded in 1982, BSME is a not-for-profit organisation that supports a network of high quality British International Schools across the region. We facilitate invaluable partnerships between member schools and business partners who specialise in providing education products, services and tools.

Students

At BSME, we believe in empowering every student to reach their full potential. From the celebrated BSME Games, to topical debate contests; regional swimming championships, to Esport competitions; we are proud to offer a calendar of events that allows each student to demonstrate their brilliance.

At British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), the safety and wellbeing of every child are paramount. We are deeply committed to ensuring that all students within our network of schools learn and thrive in the safest possible environments.

Edsidera

Edsidera brings skills for life beyond the classroom through practical, engaging awards for children and young people. Challenges develop global citizenship, sustainability, entrepreneurship, wellbeing, independence and leadership. Schools can choose from our established awards or create a bespoke programme, with challenges tailored to their values, students and community.

Every student can have an individual app account or choose a printed booklet, with Arabic audio support available. Our academic team can manage evidence, moderation and feedback too, meaning no additional impact on teachers’ time.

Through our growing network of global partnerships, we also bring specialist expertise, opportunities and real-world experiences into our programmes.

From early years to secondary, Edsidera recognises the skills, character and confidence young people need for life.
