Penta Inspection Training
Course: BSME Penta Inspection Training Level 1
WHEN: 24th to 26th April 2026
Inspection and accreditation should support both school improvement and professional development for staff leading the process. This 3-day intensive course is an essential professional development and career progression tool. You will learn how to use triangulated evidence to identify strengths and areas for development, as well as evaluate and report evidence to stakeholders. Written tasks are required for the successful completion of this course, and to move onto Level 2.
Applicants need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Have had recent and extended experience in a British curriculum school
- Currently hold, or have recently held, a senior leadership position with significant whole-school responsibility

WHEN: 5th to 7th June 2026
This course focuses on the skills of inspection, including analysing data and evidence, feedback to staff members and report writing. This 3-day course will equip you with the ability to evaluate your own school, as well as other international schools against an accreditation framework. Various written tasks are required for the successful completion of this course.
Applicants need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification
- Have had recent and extended experience in a British curriculum school
- Currently hold, or have recently held, a senior leadership position with significant whole-school responsibility
- Have successfully completed a PENTA Level 1 training course
