Junior Duke Award

About

The Junior Duke is the world’s leading life skills award for children aged 3–13. Through ten progressive, age-appropriate levels, it develops independence, confidence, resilience and essential life skills. Children complete practical challenges that encourage perseverance, responsibility and problem-solving, helping them learn through real-life experiences. The award promotes a healthy level of challenge and ‘struggle’, enabling children to build the strategies and mindset needed to overcome obstacles and adapt to new situations. By fostering character, wellbeing and a growth mindset from an early age, The Junior Duke equips young people with the skills, confidence and resilience to thrive both in school and beyond.
