Leadership Transition in International Schools Survey
Research Collaboration Project by RSAcademics and MSB
MSB and RSAcademics are collaborating on a research project exploring leadership transition in international schools. The aim of the study is to develop a clearer understanding of how leadership transitions are experienced across the sector and what practices appear to support stability and successful leadership over time.
For the purposes of this research, leadership transition refers to changes within a school’s senior leadership team, including both educational and operational roles such as Head or Principal, Deputy or Assistant Head or Vice Principal and senior operational leaders such as COO, CFO or Bursar.
Transitions may include external appointments, internal promotions or leadership departures.
When answering the questions, please think about leadership transitions you have experienced within your school or organisation whether as a leader, board member, owner or advisor.
