Previously run Conferences
Modern Foreign Languages Conference
In collaboration with The British School Al Khubairat, this MFL Conference is the first of its kind in the region. Language teachers, subject leaders and curriculum leaders will have the opportunity to attend a Conference in two parts: Day 1 is dedicated to pedagogy and practice in modern foreign languages, whilst Day 2 will focus on Arabic for non-native speakers in British international schools. Registration for this conference will be flexible: sign up for both days or attend on only one or the other. Watch this space for Conference details!
Safeguarding is a non-negotiable in British international education. It is also an expectation that all staff in BSME schools undertake regular safeguarding training. This Conference will support the professional learning of staff at all levels of safeguarding. Day 1 will target teachers, learning support staff and those with gaps in their safeguarding training (Level 1), while Day 2 and 3 is intended for middle and senior leaders, safeguarding and pastoral leads and includes safer recruitment ensuring a Level 3 safeguarding accreditation. See the attached for more information.
