Thriving and Belonging: Schools as Sanctuary Conference
WHERE: Royal Grammar School Guildford, Dubai, UAE WHEN: Saturday, 18th April 2026
This event, expertly curated with Matthew Savage and Priya Mitchell, focuses on wellbeing and belonging in schools including from safeguarding and DEIB perspectives. There is a wealth of research that demonstrates when children and young people feel safe and supported, they are more likely to thrive and engage in learning. This conference will explore how schools can create environments where every student feels they belong—especially those who may feel on the edges of the school community - and where their learning and development can thrive.
